Western Art, Japanese Art, Contemporary Art, Children's Art, Picture Book Illustrations-to showcase the art of many diverse genres, we plan and open exhibitions year-round. But these exhibitions are not only for the purpose of displaying works; we have also established spaces for children to play and make art themselves, allowing them come into contact with creative works in an even more active way.

One might say that choosing to showcase children's paintings among all other genres of art is a children's museum's unique quality. Once every year, kids from Hamada and from countries all over the world participate in a children's art exhibition named “Hamada Children's Independants.Exhibition” With participation from museums and educational institutions around the world, it is an ever-growing international exhibition.
